Fabio Del Ben

Fabio Del Ben graduated as a Medical Doctor at the University of Udine in 2011, with an experimental thesis in cardiac stem cell biology. Then he spent one year working as a postdoc research fellow at Brigham and Women's Hospital - Harvard Medical School on stem cell physiology (calcium imaging). He came back to Italy in 2013 to join Prof. Scoles' group fascinated by the multidisciplinar approach. He is now PhD student at the Graduate School of Nanotechnology at the University of Trieste, working on cancer diagnostics. Presently he is working in collaboration with prof. Huck's group at Radboud University in Nijmegen (NL) for the creation of new devices to detect Circulating Tumor Cells.
